Job Summary:
You are an experienced Journeyperson Ironworker on industrial construction projects. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team working on our BHP Headframe project.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Stick build steel erection for structural steel building and structural steel panelization, modular builds, mod placement and EAU assembly
  • Bolt up and impacting
  • Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the lay out of work
  • Position steel units, align holes, and insert temporary bolts while checking alignments and joining steel parts
  • Heavy lift, rigging and setting of building modules
  • Ensures the safety of the crew, equipment, and environment
  • Ensures that work is completed during regular hours

Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson/Apprentice Ironworker certification with a recognized provincial training authority
  • Successful completion of preaccess drug and alcohol testing and criminal record check
  • OSSA Regional with CSTS/BSO or CSO, Fall Protection
  • Elevated Work Platform and Confined Space are an asset
  • Must have basic Ironworker tools

Work Conditions:

  • 14/7 rotation working 10 hours/day
  • Travel/flight allowance for provided for nonlocal residents
  • Private Camp based accommodation
  • Benefits provided by CLAC
  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Project end date: September 2024
