About the role:

In this role, you'll own the Glencore North America SAP Sales & Distribution & Commodity Management business processes including:

  • Metals sales and purchase contracts
  • Metals accounting business processes including month end
  • Assay management
  • Inventory valuation & Hedging

More specifically, you will be expected to:

  • Propose solutions for Commodity Management related issues;
  • Work with superusers to troubleshoot issues and implement optimized processes for Commercial;
  • Close cooperation with the global teams regarding knowledgesharing and business development for specific expert topics;
  • Work with sites on defining/improving test scripts and coordinate testing when required;
  • Communicate key strategic dates to businesses, define schedule and make sure users are mobilized to perform testing;
  • Coordinate with technical support on test results and followups;
  • Lead the effort to ensure that the IT risk register is updated on a quarterly basis;
  • Open yearly contracts and POs with IT vendors and ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
  • Experience and understanding of SAP Sales & Distribution and Commodity Management processes;
  • Good knowledge of Commodity Managementrelated Finance and Monthend processes;
  • Ability to work with superusers at multiple sites to ensure Commodity Management issues are highlighted and resolved in a timely manner;
  • Project management skills;
  • Capacity for teamwork, analysis and conceptual thinking.

Bilingual (English and French).
