Key Responsibilities

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Plan, oversee and execute social media strategies, guidelines, best practices, promotional campaigns, and day-to-day activities while optimizing and monetizing the brand's presence on YouTube, TikTok, FB/IG, Twitter, LinkedIn and other relevant social media platforms.
  • Create and oversee all daytoday brand postings across all of VIP social media platforms (Create written, photo & video content on a daytoday basis, posting on blogs and social networks, engaging in online forums, influencer marketing, participating in online outreach and promotion, measuring analytics etc.)
  • Monitor and engage with followers, customers, and ambassadors on VIP social media platform and community channels, including answering DMs and comments and proactively flagging opportunities for brandbuilding responses
  • Identify success metrics and develop reporting to inform strategy.
  • Monitor and research industry trends and culturally relevant moments to push forward social media effort.
  • Ensure there is onbrand messaging across all social media channels
  • Manage, update and maintain websites (vipvape, vipcannabis, vapetext, puffnvape, vapetrader) to complement marketing activities online and instore.
  • Analyze effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media efforts to determine campaign effectiveness through relevant monitoring tools
  • Understand and evolve the voice of the VIP brand.
  • Establish and foster relationships with online influencers.
  • Stay abreast of key industry trends, competitive insights, emerging social media/marketing/ecommerce technologies, benchmark and research competitors, and industry leaders in social media. Constantly explore and evaluate new social platforms, tools, services, and vendors and provide recommendations.
  • Ensure that social campaigns are aligned within the larger content strategy initiatives.
  • Develop and execute strategy for social media platforms while continually evolving and adjusting content to meet and/or exceed metrics targets, including but not limited to engagement, follower growth, impressions, reach, site traffic, revenue, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for streamlining social media content production; leverage tools and freelance support to maximize team efficiency and diversify our creative assets.
  • Act as The Team Ambassador you and other team members be the face and voice of the business on social media and other digital communications.
  • Maintain shared marketing calendar document, scheduling content ahead wherever possible.
  • Regularly review our online profiles and suggest improvements.
  • Regularly monitor and contribute to our Google business profile including reviews, Google Business posts, images, and insights.
  • As a Social Media Lead, you are up to date with the latest platforms and social media trends and keep a tight pulse on current events. You understand the importance of cultural relevance — and you know how to bring it to life.
