We are seeking a
Human Resources Business Partner to join our dynamic HR team supporting the NATO Flying Training in Canada (NFTC).

You will have the opportunity to create a true partnership with our business unit and their leadership

YOU WILL:

  • Be a trusted coach and advisor, helping our leaders work through challenges (big and small) and driving change within their teams.
  • Consult with managers and leaders to craft meaningful strategies to retain, engage and develop high performing teams.
  • Develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate ability to exercise professional and emotional maturity and judgement to approach sensitive situations with integrity, diplomacy, tact and a high ethical standard.
  • Build scalable frameworks and manage workstreams to strengthen our People processes.
  • Participate in the implementation of change management plans, continuous improvement projects and exercise influence over various partners within CAE.
  • Maintain deep understanding of employment law, compliance programs, stay up to date on current events, operationalize policy and provide guidance to leaders and employees.
  • Provide recommendations for employee engagement.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field; or equivalent preferred.

years' experience as a People Partner / HRBP or growing responsibilities as an HR Generalist in a high volume, fast paced environment; to include managing complex, national HR projects and operationalizing HR policies.


  • Current and knowledgeable in Canadian employmentrelated federal and provincial employment regulations including collective agreement administration.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and rolling up your sleeves as needed.
  • An excellent communicator with strong organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills (verbal and written
  • English).
  • A leader with excellent problemsolving skills to act as an internal advisor, coach and customer service provider, both for the management team and employees with respect to all human resources issues.
  • Service oriented with excellent customer service skills with the ability to exercise good judgement, with high energy, initiative and an engaging attitude.
  • Demonstrated mastery of the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
