Accounting Technician Job

As a trusted advisor, you'll use cutting-edge technology to deliver a full suite of services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and payroll administration.
This position is eligible for a hybrid or remote work arrangement . Providing business strategies and solutions, we are a leading national accounting, tax, and business advisory firm in Canada. Entrepreneurial to our core, our talented team members transcend obstacles into opportunities and are successfully transforming mid-market business practices.Assist with full cycle bookkeeping and payroll functions for MNP clients.
Prepare and maintain payroll and related government remittances/filings (PST-GST), recording of sales, accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable, payroll and for the Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST)
Set up client files and assist with the completion of budgets and administrative planning.
Maintain, monitor, and reconcile GL accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities and intercompany and point of sale (POS)/system uploads.
Accounting certificate or a bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration (accounting, finance, or management information systems (MIS) major is considered an asset)Bookkeeping experience
Experience with non-profit organizations or First Nations would be an asset.
Experience executing accounting system implementations; Experience working with desktop-based small business accounting packages, including QuickBooks Desktop, Sage 50, Sage 300, Xyntax, Adagio and/or other legacy desktop products.
