About us

The role:


We are looking for a driven and ambitious Business Development Consultant (BDC) to join our Sales Team to help us drive demand for the ACTO platform and build pipeline for Account Executives.


In this role you will:

  • Serve as the critical link between Marketing and Sales, following up with inbound leads and leads generated from Marketing programs to qualify them for Sales
  • Work with Marketing and Sales to understand the programs and the associated problem/solution benefitsoriented messages for the leads that result from the programs
  • Connect and engage with leads in a timely manner to profile their Sales Readiness to convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
  • Conduct outbound outreach to secure onsite meetings at industry events
  • Devise outbound prospecting campaigns in support of key Marketing Campaigns
  • Develop a strong working partnership with Marketing and Sales and maintain a continuous feedback loop with them to continue improving outreach tactics, scripts, and conversion
  • Develop a working understanding of how the ACTO platform helps solve problems and builds lasting relationships with our customers in the Life Sciences industry
  • Key Performance Indicator: MQL to SQL conversion and pipeline contribution

  • To be able to conduct basic discovery to qualify prospect and get information about challenges and needs
  • Strong timemanagement and contact management skills

  • Be a team player, a continuous learner, and an outstanding professional
  • Bachelor's degree

Bonus points if you have:

  • One year of Pharmaceuticals Sales experience preferred
  • Experience in Sales and/or Marketing
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.)
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM platform
  • Knowledge of the Life Sciences industry
