NES is looking for experienced Welders for a project in Halifax NS. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity offering LOA and Travel.

• Day Shift: $43.00 per hour (7am - 3:30pm)
• Night Shift: $3.00 per hour shift premium (12am - 7:30pm)
• Back Shift: $3.00 per hour shift premium (5pm - 1am) Additional Overtime available
• LOA $135
• Travel $220 weekly, if 80km away from the shipyard. One-time $600 Travel Pay.

• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
• Work in construction, maintenance/repair, and new fabrication environment.
• Perform Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) in all positions.
• Perform Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) in all positions.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment and semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• Set up Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) equipment for welding.
• Lift, move, or position equipment at work sites.

• Candidates must work at heights from ladders, scaffolding, and platforms.
• Be flexible with extended hours and overtime as business needs require.
• Work may involve both indoor and outdoor environments.
