Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mechanical inspections and audits of all vehicles serviced by Drive-True Auto to ensure they meet safety standards and comply with regulations.
  • Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify mechanical issues that may affect safety.
  • Recommend repairs or replacements as necessary to ensure vehicles are safe for operation.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs performed on vehicles.
  • Provide guidance and support to our team of mechanics to ensure they are adhering to safety standards and regulations.
  • Stay uptodate with changes to regulations and industry standards related to vehicle safety.

Requirements:

  • A valid Mechanical Inspection Certificate (MIC) issued by Manitoba Public Insurance.
  • At least 1 years of experience as a Mechanical Safety Inspector.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and repair techniques.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problemsolving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
