As part of the Sales Department, the
Inside Sales Representative/Data Entry Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day sales support functions of the department.

This includes but is not limited to preparing quotes, basic technical support, sales monitoring and handling sales enquiries.

Strong customer service experience, proficient computer skills and a high level of professionals while working in a team environment is required.

Technical, organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • This Inside Sales Position/Data Entry will enter sales, prepare quotations, save files into databases, and assist the sales team with administrative duties.
  • Ability to complete data entry in an accurate and timely manner, review source documents for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Ability to properly execute tasks in a highvolume environment.
  • Ability to work as a team member in order to provide efficient and effective data entry operations.
  • Collaborate effectively with your team, sharing insights and strategies for streamlining the data entry process. Monitor and maintain product and service information and updates.
  • Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers.
  • Enter all leads into the Casasanta, LC Bakery & LCB Manufacturing data base.
  • Communicate with all leads in a timely manner after company information and quotes have been sent.
  • Staying informed about competing products and services.
  • Researching and qualifying new leads.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Review with manufacturing any changes in orders and adjust delivery times accordingly.
  • Coordinate and communicate with customers through the manufacturing process.
  • Assist in the development and launch of all Social Media Marketing Initiatives.
  • Use and track social media analytics and review with management any trends that could benefit the company.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties that may be superficially or generally assigned.

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and initiate actions within the scope of authority.
  • Maintains standards of confidentiality with respect to private information.
  • Prioritize assignments according to deadlines.
  • Ensure a positive and professional attitude while working with your peers.
  • Available to work additional hours when required.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Post Secondary Education in Sales, Marketing or Business an asset
  • Certified Sales Professional (CSP) Designation is an asset
  • Minimum two (2) years relevant work experience
  • Advance capability in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) and CRM software
  • Previous experience in social media marketing and analytics
  • Excellent communication skills, listening, verbal and written
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure while learning and adapting in a fastpaced environment

Effort:

  • Frequent periods of mental and visual concentration during computer work and analyses
  • Frequent interruptions which requires the ability to juggle several priorities and refocus quickly
  • Involves some walking throughout plant
  • Volume of work is steady with periods of high demand and time pressures

Working Conditions:

  • Most work is carried out in a typical business office with occasional visits to the shop floor which requires wearing personal protective equipment
  • Exposure to elements such as dust, temperature and noise during time spent on shop

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
