PFC Flexible Circuits Ltd, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking a permanent full time Quality Control Inspector for 2nd shift (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM). The candidate will train on the day shift for 1-2 months before transitioning to 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

Using a stereo microscope, perform visual inspection on incoming, in-process and outgoing products to ensure that all quality requirements are met according to customer print and IPC (Institute for Interconnecting and Packaging Electronic Circuits) specifications Using a stereo microscope & portable measuring microscope, perform 1st printed circuit buy off visual inspection and document the results Perform first article inspection and produce report Complete forms and documentation as related to reporting inspection results Using defective or non-conformance data, effectively communicate quality issues to QC Manager for immediate correction to ensure that all products meet customer specifications Perform 5S housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment Assists in training new hires and other team associates as assigned Maintain the QC Inspection logbook Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1-2 years QA, QC, or Visual inspection experience in PCB or semiconductor packaging industry or equivalent preferred IPC-A- CIS certificate preferred Knowledge of using measuring tools, such as vernier calipers, micrometers, depth gages, pin gages and magnification aids using stereo-microscope and other necessary tools required Knowledge of flex and rigid flex printed circuit boards, and IPC- specification preferred Knowledge of ISO and ISO standards preferred Knowledge of AS standard preferred Read and understand customer drawings Attention to details Fluency in English Team player
