**DESCRIPTION D'EMPLOI**

Cette personne est chargée de la gestion des stocks de pièces de rechange requises pour l'équipement de traitement du courrier. Elle est également responsable du rendement global des stocks et de l'élaboration de pratiques de gestion et de contrôle appropriées. Elle dirige une équipe. Le poste exige des compétences en gestion des affaires et une compréhension approfondie des pratiques de gestion et de contrôle des stocks. La personne est chargée d'élaborer un plan d'affaires annuel pour soutenir l'approvisionnement et les objectifs de la Société.

**RESPONSABILITÉS D'EMPLOI**
- Avoir une connaissance approfondie du système informatisé d'achat des stocks et de ses paramètres. Recommander, planifier et mettre en œuvre les changements et les mises à niveau du système.
- Élaborer, planifier et mettre en œuvre des procédés administratifs faisant appel aux « meilleures pratiques » en matière de gestion pour atteindre les objectifs opérationnels et ceux du service.
- S'assurer que les plans opérationnels (p. ex., les prévisions et les calendriers) sont mis en œuvre afin d'atteindre les objectifs en matière de stocks, concernant notamment, les niveaux de stock, les exigences relatives au dénombrement périodique et l'exactitude des stocks.
- Élaborer un cadre de travail pour l'établissement des demandes de matériel liées aux modifications d'équipement, au lancement de nouveaux produits, aux besoins spéciaux et aux exigences opérationnelles pendant les périodes de pointe.
- Utiliser un modèle de pièces de rechange pour déterminer la commande optimale et la quantité de stock nécessaire dans le cadre de l'acquisition d'un nouvel équipement.
- Superviser la surveillance du niveau des stocks afin d'éviter les stocks excédentaires ou les pénuries. S'assurer que les méthodes optimales sont utilisées pour répondre aux besoins en matière de stocks (p. ex., transfert des produits excédentaires d'autres entrepôts, réparation ou réaffectation de produits livrés pour contrôler la distribution des stocks).
- Coordonner et contrôler la mise à l'écart et le retour des produits défectueux et s'assurer que des pièces de rechange sont fournies en temps opportun.
- Établir la valeur des pièces externes et les réparations à intégrer aux budgets des clients, puis gérer le procédé de réparation. Cela comprend le budget, le transfert des pièces et l'administration des diverses ententes de réparations.
- Déterminer les pièces de rechange qui sont peu ou pas du tout utilisées afin de s'en débarrasser et coordonner la procédure d'approbation auprès des régions respectives, des responsables de la conception et des Finances.
- Élaborer un procédé pour récupérer les pièces de rechange essentielles de l'équipement mis hors service afin de les utiliser dans de l'équipement vieillissant.
- Mettre au point et offrir des programmes de formation pour les magasiniers et le personnel de la gestion des stocks nouvellement embauchés, portant sur les systèmes, les méthodes de gestion des stocks et les procédures de commande.
- Appuyer l'équipe Ingénierie en déterminant les éléments grandement utilisés pour voir quelles sont les pièces posant des problèmes, aux fins d'évaluation. Fournir à l'équipe Ingénierie des données sur les tendances, les coûts, l'usage et les informations techniques provenant de divers fournisseurs.
- Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des plans d'urgence pour les stocks pour soutenir les opérations durant les périodes de pointe, en cas d'urgence ou de défectuosité de l'équipement.
- Élaborer des rapports pour les Finances sur la valeur des stocks, les articles excédentaires et la réparation de pièces, etc.
- Se tenir au courant des composantes et des ensembles industriels, mécaniques, électriques et électroniques standard, ainsi que des progrès techniques et des nouveaux produits offerts sur le marché.
- Surveiller le rendement des fournisseurs et cerner les enjeux et les problèmes potentiels, puis prendre des mesures correctives en faisant appel à un spécialiste (Ingénierie, Assurance de la qualité, etc.) ou un fournisseur.
- Recruter et perfectionner une équipe compétente pour faciliter les activités de gestion des stocks.
- Élaborer des rapports de gestion du rendement des stocks et fournir des rapports spéciaux au directeur et aux cadres supérieurs.
