Our expectations:

The Department Manager serves as the Company's ambassador to the team under their supervision. They inspire, lead, guide, and train the employees within their jurisdiction. They actively contribute to achieving both store and Company objectives, enhancing processes, and resolving issues. Additionally, they ensure top-notch customer service for all patrons in a pleasant and secure shopping environment.

Your role:

  • Oversee tasks based on established priorities and Company guidelines
  • Address any emerging challenges while upholding customer satisfaction
  • Execute merchandising responsibilities as per Store Manager's instructions
  • Supervise the restocking process
  • Coordinate promotional activities in alignment with sales targets
  • Assist in recruiting department staff
  • Develop work schedules in line with the labor budget, meeting customer demands
  • Provide coaching, support, and motivation to team members
  • Ongoing assessment of staff performance and implementation of corrective actions if needed
  • Participate in employee evaluation and training processes, ensuring follow-up when necessary
  • Adhere to store policies and protocols for loss prevention and workplace safety
