JOB SUMMARY The Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the assigned sites. The Security Manager is to act as a liaison between office management and the Operations (OPS) team.

The goal of this role is to provide intermediate level support to the supervisory team in order to meet operational deliverables and to contribute to the overall success of the program.

Specific Duties
This job requires driving most of day (company vehicle is supplied)
Shift will be 730am-400pm (must be willing to stand down if necessary)
Conduct routine check in's with teams to understand any challenges they may be facing and try to pre-emptively anticipate any issues and attempt to resolve in an efficient and timely manner
Ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner, such as Site Inspections
Provide feedback to OPS with regards to operational issues on the field (includes employee feedback)
Identify challenges in field operations, and provide solutions-based support
Work closely with OPS to support the overall operational goal and deliverables.
Uphold the Synergy brand and values at all time
Support the OPS team in investigations
Conduct site inspections to ensure that staff are present for their scheduled shift(s)
Perform on-the-job training, coaching & mentoring as necessary
Respond to occurrences that may occur in the sites and such as workplace injury, employee complaints and provide support and guidance in these situations
Orient all new hires and provide on-the-job-training when needed
Submit all required reports in a timely manner
Maintain up-to-date vehicle inspection logs and report any anomalies.
Participate in Town Hall meetings and other operational meetings as requested
Perform administrative duties as directed by the Operations Management team

Requirements:
Driven, self-sufficient & results oriented
Hold a valid Ontario G-class license with a clean abstract
Minimum 2 years of management experience (preferably in the security industry)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to demonstrate management/leadership skills
Demonstrated ability in preparing and maintaining clear, concise, and legible reports
Highly developed interpersonal and customer-service skills, including problem-solving, decision making, situational assessment and communication skills
Strong conflict resolution skills
Desire to coach & mentor others and contribute to an employees professional development
Ability to build relationships with others
Strong problem-solving skills
