New Hot & Sour Restaurant is looking for Servers

Requirements:

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

  • Must be comfortable using a cash register and iPad
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast paced restaurant environment
  • Must be friendly and professional with guests and team members
  • Ability to work at a quick, yet efficient rate, taking and serving guests drinks and food orders
  • Restaurant experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and provide them with a positive first impression of New Hot & Sour Restaurant

  • Take orders from customers while following the order process with speed and accuracy
  • Prepare food items according to food preparation standards set by the restaurant manager
  • Present yourself as a positive team member to all guests, parents, and team members
  • Stay until the task is completed, even if the current task becomes more difficult than previous tasks
  • Use your tablet to accept or reject orders from time to time, but not as an extension of your own hands
  • Please do not ask your guests to pay for any service or product you may need while working the register
  • Store food items in appropriate containers at proper temperatures before serving time
  • Maintain a clean work area at all times, inc

Job Types:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mississauga, ON L5V 3A4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- serving: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Smart Serve (preferred)
  • ProServe (preferred)
