Class 1 Manual Truck Driver

We are currently hiring a licensed Class 1 Manual driver to operate a Tandem Axle truck with the following requirements:

  • Must be able to drive manual transmission truck
  • Must have a valid Class 1 manual driver's license
  • Must be able to communicate with dispatch via phone
  • Must be willing to use your own smartphone
  • Experience driving a 5 ton or tandem axle is preferred, but not necessary
  • Must be available Monday-Friday starting at 7:30AM.

Responsibilities:

  • Pickup and deliver freight around the lower mainland
  • Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections
  • Fill out daily trip logs
  • Communicate with dispatch throughout the day
  • Use load straps, load bars, and other safety equipment to secure loads
  • Provide live updates as soon as shipments are picked up/delivered through smartphone app
