Well-known in the community, Bulkley Valley Wholesale has proudly been serving residents, restaurants, independent retailers, mining camps and lodges of the northwest corner of British Columbia for more than 60 years and is a division of Pattison Food Group Ltd.

We are hiring for a Food Clerk at our Bulkley Valley location in Smithers, BC.

You will be responsible for:

  • Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
  • Operating a cash register.
  • Sharing product knowledge with customers.
  • Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
  • Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
  • Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
  • Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:

  • A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
  • A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
  • Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
  • Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).
