An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Manager.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in all aspects of compliance monitoring and testing, requiring proactive participation with oversight planning, scoping, fieldwork, and reporting.

This position reports directly to the Vice President of Compliance and offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic team that values diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

As a Compliance Manager in Testing, you will play a key role in shaping the compliance landscape within our clients organisation.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the development and implementation of the enterprise-wide Compliance testing program.

You will conduct various testing activities including scoping, sampling, document review, and test procedures to identify compliance and operational issues.

Furthermore, you will track the status of remediation and validation of open issues while identifying needs for new or enhanced controls.

Working closely with business partners, you will implement necessary procedural changes. Lastly, maintaining appropriate testing program documentation and working papers will fall under your purview.
Report directly to the VP of Compliance
Oversee the development and implementation of the enterprise-wide Compliance testing program
Conduct testing, scoping, sampling, document review, and test procedures to identify compliance and operational issues
Identify needs for new or enhanced controls and work with business partners to implement required procedural changes
Maintain appropriate testing program documentation and working papers
Assist the Compliance team with other tasks as may be required

The ideal candidate for the Compliance Manager role will bring a wealth of experience and skills to the table.

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, law, or related fields
At least 3 years' experience in compliance, audit, or internal control functions, with at least 1 year in testing or audit
Strong understanding and knowledge of compliance testing methodologies and applicable laws/regulations
Exceptional analytical, problem solving, planning, organizational, and time management skills
Highly developed business acumen
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
