IT Project Manager - Cash Management On-Boarding Migration Projects

On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for an IT Project Manager specializing in Cash Management On-Boarding Migration Projects.

Job Description

  • Project: Large complex migration project
  • Role: Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of Cash Management On-boarding migration projects ensuring consistency with bank strategy, commitments, and goals
  • Candidate will partner with clients, treasury solution salesforce, and payments product team to ensure smooth on-boarding experience
  • Lead the planning & implementation of projects by defining scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Develop project plans, tasks, and resource requirements
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff for optimum resource allocation
  • Manage, plan, and track project timelines using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Constantly monitor and report project progress to stakeholders
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
  • Implement and manage project changes to achieve desired outcomes

Mandatory Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years PM experience managing small to medium sized projects
  • 5+ years of experience & strong subject knowledge in Commercial banking and Cash management
  • Experience in commercial relationship management role(s) within a financial institution
  • Proven technical understanding of complex file structures, connectivity and ERP platforms
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft 365)
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • PMP certification would be an asset
  • French language skills an asset
  • Experience with Confluence / Jira (nice to have)
  • ISO 20022 industry knowledge an asset (nice to have)

Assignment Start Date: 6 months to start

Assignment Location: Toronto, ON – Work Hybrid
