About the Role


We are seeking a professional and dedicated
Financial Analyst who is passionate about growing the S&T brand through meaningful financial insights to drive action and decision making.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your primary job responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with various aspects of the financial reporting close process, including preparing monthly/quarterly income statements and financial dashboards, preparing supporting analyses and working papers, investigating month-over-month discrepancies and explaining variances between budget to forecast, etc.
  • Bookkeeping, including creating invoices and managing payables
  • Produce meaningful financial analyses and drawing insights to be used in strategic management decisionmaking
  • Assist with preparing consolidated financial statements for all S&T operating segments
  • Assist with redefining financial processes through automation and collaboration with other business groups to enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Adherence to company's existing internal control framework and implementing new audit controls
  • Strategic annual budgeting and forecasting
  • Adhoc projects and financial analyses, as required

Qualifications

  • 13 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, and/or other relevant business area
  • Degree in accounting or business/commerce, with preference for those working towards, or completed, a relevant industryrecognized certification (e.g. CPA)
  • Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and analytical skills with ability to draw insights and convey complex information in a straightforward manner
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to establish priorities with little direction in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong skills using Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Quickbooks would be an asset
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in highly pressured roles and environments with ambiguity
  • Selfmotivated, teamoriented, strong communication skills and personally interested in health and fitness
