***: Reporting to the Manager of the Ideation Hub, the Associate Project Manager will be to provide support to sustain efficient management of projects through effective planning, organizing, project dashboarding, and risk and budget tracking of the Ideation Hub's initiatives. Additionally, the Associate Project Manager will support reporting activities of the Ideation Hub activities and other major initiatives across the Composite Systems Group.

DUTIES

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Coordinate projects related to the Ideation Hub, monitor performance and cost justification for projects
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute project dashboard report to all stakeholders
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
  • Organize, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings
  • Chair and facilitate project meetings where appropriate
  • Develop, maintain and monitor project plans, including project schedules, budgets and expenditures, and risks

PROJECT COORDINATING ACTIVITIES

  • Gather all project information: schedules, assignments, tasks, and project meetings
  • Works with Project Leaders; Manufacturing Technology Managers and Product Managers to understand and assist with tracking all work, tasks, and project assignments
  • Assists with the review and processing of invoices and progress claims, and assistance with the review of documents and inquiries
  • Assists in securing pricing, reviewing, inputting and submission of the data for quotes and vendor approval process
  • Prepares purchase requisitions for approval and assists with procurement of materials and equipment when required
  • Monitor and modify project schedule as assigned
  • Maintain document control, database management, track project activities and team communication
  • Assists project team and project lead in strategic meetings and follow up with actions and meeting decisions
  • Organize project meetings as required
  • Document and follow up on important project actions and decisions from meeting

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree: Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Software, Mechanical preferred)
  • PMP/PMO or similar training desirable
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in similar positions
  • MS Office suite (Excel; Word; Power Point)
  • Advanced level
  • MS Project & SharePoint
  • Intermediate level
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Work with high volume of requests and changing priorities
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with SharePoint and/or other content management systems
  • Work with time sensitive documents, and tasks
  • Strong teamwork, communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
  • Good experience with Project Management
