As an Assistant Front Office Manager, you will show your leadership and interpersonal strengths to maximize the Front Office Operations, and ensure an exceptional guest journey.
Support the Dual Property Front Office Manager with all aspects of the Front Office department and ensure all service standards are followed with friendly and engaging serviceHandle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper departments to guarantee memorable moments for our guestsEnsures compliance with all Front Office policies, brand standards, online training and proceduresMonitor work hours, scheduling and vacation planning of Front Office associates while adhering to budgeted labour costs based on hotel occupancy and work volumesParticipate in recruitment, selection, training and performance management of Front Office team membersAttend various meetings and hotel functions as relating to the Front Office function in lieu of the Dual Property Front Office Manager; Assists in conducting regular Department meetings and training sessionsComplete managerial tasks such as scheduling, payroll, performance management & coachingEnsure, all service standards and procedures are adhered toFollow company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety trainingAudits on stock in all areas to make sure that all required hotel supplies are ordered and stocked in advance of needMust be available to cover shifts for sick calls & emergenciesAvailable to work varied shifts:days, evenings, weekends and holidaysOperate Hotel shuttle in a safe manner in accordance with the Motor Vehicle ActEnsure shuttle operations are running efficiently during shiftAdditional duties as assigned by managementWhat are we looking for?To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:1 years' Front Office experience in a leadership positionHotel experience requiredService focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience requiredValid first aid an assetClass 5 drivers licenseHighly organized with an attention to detailPrior experience working with Lightspeed ( Marriott) or related system an assetProven ability to build and maintain good relationships guests and associatesAbility to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performanceMove, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 poundsPerks:Staff AccommodationExtended Health and Dental BenefitsEmployee and Family Assistance ProgramWorld-wide accommodation and dining discounts with MarriottEmployee discounts on accommodations, dining and marina at our sister properties (Hotel Eldorado, Manteo Resort and Eldorado Marina, Four Points by Sheraton Kelowna Airport and Hampton Inn & Suites Kelowna Airport).
