In this Accounts Payable Administrator role in Vaughan, you will be responsible for the following:
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently, including matching invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate approval before processing for payment.
- Enter invoices into the accounting system and ensure proper coding and classification of expenses.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers, checks, and wire payments for vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate vendor records, including contact information, payment terms, and payment history.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve paymentrelated issues courteously and professionally.
- Assist with monthend and yearend closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve accounts payable processes and contribute to overall efficiency and effectiveness.
In this Accounts Payable Administrator role in Vaughan, you will be required to have the following:
- Minimum 2 years of experience processing full-cycle AP.
- Experience with SAP or similar accounting systems is an asset.
- Experience with vendor management is a strong asset.
