The role:


Farmers Depot is looking to add a full-time Animal Health Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Cambridge, ON.

We're looking for a highly motivated and dedicated person to deliver an amazing experience to customers by helping to answer their questions and solve their problems over the phone, in person and online.

This is a
12-month contract based out of 455 Dobbie Drive, Cambridge, Ontario. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

We must be easily reached by our customers and provide an enjoyable, convenient shopping experience that allows them to find the products they need quickly.

Every interaction that a customer has with the Farmers Depot brand should be a positive one.

What you'll do:

  • Pick orders from time to time in the warehouse for next day delivery if required.
  • Deliver positive, outstanding, and friendly customer service.
  • Build positive relationships and support the needs of swine, dairy, beef, poultry, sheep, and cash crop farmers.
  • Attend trade shows as needed.

Your background includes:

  • Background in the farming or agriculture industry and a passion for animals
  • 3+ years relevant experience delivering superior customer service
  • A strong customer service mentality
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly developed problemsolving skills, organizational skills, and an ability to bring solutions to the customer
  • Eager to learn, quick to learn, and very efficient
  • Keen eye for detail and completing tasks with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics GP is an asset
