The role of Specialist, Security and Trade Compliance will support Top Aces inc.

's Trade and Security compliance programs to ensure business activities align with the requirements of the following programs/regulations:

  • Global Affairs Canada's Export and Import Permits Act (EIPA)
  • The US Department of State's International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • The US Department of Commerce's Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
  • Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC)'s Contract Security Program (CSP)
  • Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC)'s Controlled Goods Program (CGP)
By performing the following tasks while working in collaboration with the Director, Security and Trade Compliance:

  • Perform verifications of transactions in company ERP
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver training to internal functional groups
  • Develop, and maintain internal policy and procedure
  • Develop and maintain record keeping standards
  • Develop and maintain an internal audit program

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 Years of relevant Experience
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment and with minimum supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to deal with all levels of the organization and with external customers.
  • Possess good judgement and the ability to resolve complex export related issues.
  • Must be deadline oriented and flexible and be able to work under pressure.
  • Good understanding of aviation or aerospace would be a definite asset.
  • Bilingual French / English
  • Ability to hold and maintain
  • NATO Secret Clearance and Successful Controlled Goods Assessment
