Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks according to established procedures.
  • Inspect vehicles to identify potential issues and communicate recommendations to customers or service advisors.
  • Mount, balance, and install tires following manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure proper disposal of used materials in compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety standards at all times.
  • Assist other technicians or mechanics with more complex repairs as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in automotive technology is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an automotive lube technician or similar role preferred.
  • Proficiency in performing basic automotive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
  • Knowledge of tire mounting, balancing, and installation procedures.
  • Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in automotive maintenance and repair.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
  • Valid driver's license.
