As a Business Technology Analyst, you will provide technical, project management, software implementation and business analysis support to all divisions of the City Clerk's Office business unit and act as a bridge between the business and technical teams within The City. You will be responsible for the creation and implementation of business processes and workflows, working with technology partners to implement, or support the implementation of technology solutions within the City Clerk's Office. This includes upgrades to the City's Council and Committee agenda management solution (eScribe), implementation of the public hearing speaker participation solution (Waitwhile) and the election management solution (Datafix). Primary duties include:

Provide project management leadership, support, and guidance to the business unit. Develop or assist with detailed project plans with project partners, present proposals to management groups, and provide updates on project progress. Develop, implement, and manage project communications plans, risk identification, and mitigation strategies. Develop and/or maintain system related documentation, procedural guidelines, or other business unit statistical information to facilitate implementation and adoption of system changes and/or to standardize business unit practices. Facilitate the development of business requirement analysis. Coordinate with Information Technology (IT) to develop functional requirements, technical specifications, and high-level designs. Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners. Plan and execute the deployment and support for any technology used within the voting stations, alongside the IT Liaison. Qualifications A degree in Business Technology Management, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or a related field. At least 4 years of experience in technology project management or coordination, business analysis including business process development, and vendor management/vendor communication or related experience. A project management certificate or certification would be considered an asset. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, adaptability, the ability to build partnerships, facilitate change, and a high attention to detail and stress tolerance.
