The Digitization and Automation Team in Global HR focuses on enhancing HR tools and technology to align with the HR strategy and improve employee digital experiences. This is a great career opportunity for professionals passionate about HR applications, systems, and tools such as HR Analysts, HRIS, and Business Analysts.

You will collaborate with Global HR and Global Technology to create roadmaps, enhance employee experience, and optimize the efficiency of HR systems. Work closely with the Senior Manager, Digitization & Automation to support and improve HR technology alignment with strategy and enhance digital experiences.

Is this role right for you? In this position, you will:

  • Champion a customer-focused culture to strengthen client relationships and utilize Bank relationships and knowledge.
  • Assist with strategizing, including business benefits, costs, implementation, training, and change management.
  • Conduct business analysis, consult with stakeholders, and recommend business solutions.
  • Manage internal applications to maximize benefits from strategic initiatives, prioritize product backlog, engage with Agile teams, and clarify user stories.
  • Support the team in workflow analysis, gap analysis, system flow analysis, defining system requirements, preparing requirement documents, testing, training, and implementations.
  • Consider the Bank's risk appetite and culture in daily activities and decisions.
  • Promote effective operations in line with Scotiabank's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles while ensuring business controls' adequacy and effectiveness.
  • Foster a high-performance and inclusive work environment.

If you have the skills to succeed, we'd like to work with you if you have:

  • Post-secondary degree in Human Resource or Business-related field.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, systems, and operational processes (an asset).
  • 3+ years of SuccessFactors experience in Employee Central.
  • 2+ years of Agile methodologies experience (an asset).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in SharePoint and RPA (beneficial).
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
  • Proven project delivery skills leading cross-functional projects.
  • Self-starter, strong communicator, able to handle ambiguity, and passionate about HR automation and change management.
