Boom Truck Driver/Operator to join our growing team.

Reporting to the Transportation Manager the successful hire will drive our 9-tonne knuckle boom, (ten-wheeler truck with hook, no cable) move gear & materials to various locations.


Qualifications:

  • Class 3 license required, with air brake endorsement.
  • Class 4 Mobile Crane Operator certificate
  • Clean driver's abstract
  • Reliable & punctual.
  • Comfortable working flexible hours as required to move gear while not in use.
  • Physically capable of securing equipment safely & effectively.
  • Able to manoeuvre heavy equipment for loading & unloading.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Comfortable driving boom truck throughout HRM, including the downtown area.

Duties and Requirements:

  • Maintain driver logbook.
  • Accurately submitting daily timesheet.
  • Pre trip and truck inspection.
  • Loading & securing equipment & materials.
  • Follow all regulations as set put by the Motor Vehicle Act.
  • Safely transport equipment & materials to various sites in HRM.
