The City of Abbotsford's Procurement department is growing and we are looking for a seasoned professional Buyer III to join our dynamic team.

In this fast-paced and diverse role, you will be responsible for the procurement of a variety of goods, services, materials and equipment through quotations, and formal competitive processes.

In this role you will also ensure vendor qualifications and monitor vendor performance.

Degree in Supply Chain or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution.

A minimum of 5 years of related Supply Chain experience in a public environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation is considered an asset.

This position is unionized, CUPE Local 774, and the hourly rate of pay is from $39.30 to $46.21.
