Overhead Crane Operator - Job Description

  • Shift 8 am to 4:30 pm
Duties

  • Operating overhead crane to move materials in slab form to load/unload trucks.
  • Cleaning Aframes for channel/bridging; Be comfortable handling 80lbs100lbs product.
  • Assisting/ using the strap change over different size products;
  • Strapping loads of slabs, bridging or deck;
  • Conducting general area clean up;
  • Ensuring floor plan and material storage is maintained in respective departments;
  • Practice good housekeeping and time management in the performance of daily duties;
  • Comply with all legislated and company' health, safety, environmental, quality, procedures and programs;
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Must have experience on Counter balance, reach truck.

Able to lift Heavy lbs.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$21.00-$22.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
