Opportunity

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Manage equipment circulation, including checkout, checkin, and renewal processes.
  • Assist customers in selecting the appropriate equipment, usage, care, and safety precautions.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of equipment transactions, ensuring proper documentation of checkouts, returns, damages, and repairs.
  • Conduct thorough equipment inspections before and after each transaction to ensure functionality and identify any damage or missing components.
  • Maintain a clean and organized area, ensuring equipment is stored securely and in a manner that facilitates easy access and retrieval.
  • Monitor classroom support chat and act as a point of contact for classroom and technical support.
  • Escalate classroom and technical support issues and create tickets for end users.

SKILLS

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Extensive hardware and operating system knowledge including MAC, PC, printers, and Mobile devices.
  • Working knowledge of Google, Microsoft O365, Microsoft Office and adobe products.
  • The ability to work within a team matrix as well as work independently.
  • Computer network fundamentals including wireless configurations.
  • The ability to diagnose problems and provide solutions.
  • Selfmotivation with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with little supervision.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of a twoyear technology related diploma from a recognized postsecondary institution. Training can be in audiovisual technology, multimedia, graphic design or computer systems technology.
  • Minimum of one years' experience in a multimedia technology environment or working with audiovisual equipment.
  • Equivalences may be considered.
