Daycare Van Driver

Must have a cleared criminal record check, first aid certificate and must obtain any level in early childhood education.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport children to and from school or other designated locations
  • Ensure the wellbeing and safety of all passengers during transit
  • Maintain a clean and organized van interior
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school staff
  • Assist children with boarding and exiting the vehicle
  • Follow established routes and schedules
  • Cover staffs breaks, toy bleaching and cleaning between transportation runs

Skills:

  • Experience working with children in an educational or caregiving setting
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain a calm and patient demeanor in stressful situations
  • Strong organizational skills to ensure timely pickups and dropoffs

Note:
A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary:
$15.00-$19.00 per hour
