Vice President and Chief Development Officer
Joining a team of experienced fundraisers supporting one of the top critical care hospitals in BC, the Manager, Physician Engagement will have a key role in building relationships and managing donations from physicians & clinical leaders giving more than $1,000 yearly.
This role includes overseeing a program for patient referrals at Royal Columbian Hospital.
ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation (RCHF) is a charitable organization that raises funds for projects, equipment needs, research, education and innovation at RCH.
By collaborating with various contributors, RCHF aims to encourage generosity and secure funding for quality healthcare at Royal Columbian Hospital.
Positions open for mid-level, leadership, and planned giving donors.The Manager, Physician Engagement will be responsible for managing a vital portfolio and collaborating closely with frontline fundraisers to coordinate activities with physicians & clinical staff making significant contributions.
Interested applicants should have experience in healthcare or post-secondary environments.
Professional and Technical Skills
- Excellent understanding of the donor cycle and strong relationship management abilities.
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to set and achieve goals based on key metrics.
- Proficiency in MS Office and computer skills.
- Familiarity with software like Raiser's Edge NXT.
A valid BC driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required. Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends is a must. Candidates should actively seek personal growth opportunities and embody qualities like honesty, integrity, and resilience.
