Our Red Deer Home Centre is looking for a part-time Specialized Driver to join our team.

Part-time: 24-36 hours/week. Benefit eligible after 3 months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability requirements: Weekdays - mornings (7:00 AM start), afternoons and evenings (up to 8:00 PM) and weekends – mornings (7:00 AM start), afternoons and evenings (up to 6:00 PM).

Responsibilities:

Deliver customer products in a professional manner, Assist customers in yard, Prepare orders for delivery in a timely manner, Stay knowledgeable on product and provide advice to customers as requested, Carry out regular preventative maintenance program and schedule repairs as needed, Load and unload shipments, Operate hand and/or controlled forklifts, Ensure a clean and safe work environment, Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills, Self-motivated, Attention to detail and quality, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, Ability to work independently and in a team, Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 , Valid Class 3 Licence with Air is a requirement, Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire, Experience running a forklift is preferred.
