About Allstar Rebar

Founded in 1993, Allstar specializes in large-scale rebar estimation and high-volume detailing utilizing cutting-edge rebar software and precise rebar fabrication. Their manufacturing plant is capable of processing over 8000 tonnes of rebar annually and they have successfully executed projects across different regions in Canada and Bermuda. A member of the OSCO Construction Group since 2008.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery such as benders, shears, and overhead crane
  • Handle loading and unloading of trucks
  • Secure rebar bundles with wire for shipping
  • Maintain shop cleanliness
  • Perform general labor tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Must have own transportation
  • Intermediate English reading and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding of basic measurements and ability to read a tape measure
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Capable of standing for long periods
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Prior experience in construction, manufacturing plant, or rebar tying is a plus
  • Overtime and shift work may be necessary
