Position Summary:

  • Collaborate with a licensed Strata Property Manager in all aspects of the role while pursuing the licensing course with the aim of becoming a licensed Strata Property Manager within six months.
  • Essential qualities you should possess include determination, problem-solving skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a strong willingness to assist others.
  • Begin your journey in this exciting and challenging career by undergoing training in our Operations Coordinator position, which may involve traveling between our Victoria office and our new head office in the Westshore.

Role Responsibilities During Licensing Course:
Work closely with licensed property managers while undergoing the Strata Management Licensing Course. Upon successful completion of the exam, you will manage your portfolio of buildings.

  • Share daily reception desk duties with fellow Operations Coordinators.
  • Provide exceptional customer service consistently.
  • Handle emergencies calmly and decisively, finding positive solutions.
  • Organize property management tasks to ensure the best care for strata properties.
  • Support Property Managers in various tasks such as obtaining quotes, scheduling maintenance, and coordinating with tradespeople.
  • Work in two offices on a rotational schedule.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

In addition to office training, you will visit buildings, learn about building systems, and attend strata council meetings to understand client interactions.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service, including hospitality, restaurant, or retail.
  • Proficiency in typing and Microsoft Suite applications is essential.
  • Successful completion of a criminal record check.
  • Possession of a valid Class 5 driver's license and a well-maintained vehicle.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Strata Property Management license.

Position Information:

  • Full-time role with the opportunity to advance to a permanent Strata Property Manager position after completing the licensing course and internal training.
- Starting salary of $55,000 annually, increasing to $60,000 upon licensing.

  • Property Managers must be available for emergencies, including evening, overnight, and weekend shifts upon licensing.
  • Remote work options may be available post-training.
  • Off on weekends and holidays.
  • Education expenses covered by the company through the education funding program.
  • Manage properties from Campbell River to Victoria upon licensing.
