Your main task will be to support the Chief Compliance Officer in compliance and anti-money laundering activities.

Main Responsibilities:

KYC

  • Implementing the KYC process efficiently.
  • Managing the KYC review schedule according to customer risk levels.
    • Screening customer names and related parties.
  • Providing assistance for inquiries on AML/ATF policies and procedures.
    • Supporting CCO in updating AML/ATF documentation.
  • Assisting in internal and external AML/ATF program reviews and examinations by gathering required evidence through RFIs.
  • Contributing to AML/ATF compliance reports for Global, Regional, or Local mandates.

Investigations

  • Reviewing and addressing name screening alerts for potential Money-laundering, Terrorist Financing, and Sanctions violations.
  • Handling transaction monitoring alerts to detect potential Money-laundering, Terrorist Financing, and Sanctions violations.
  • Managing transaction screening alerts (trade finance) to identify sanctions risks.
  • Conducting investigations on name screening and transaction monitoring alert escalations.

Development of Policies and Procedures

  • Contributing to the creation of new documentation.
  • Conducting annual reviews of existing documentation.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Required Experience:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the financial services sector, focusing on Anti-Money Investigations and end-to-end KYC processes.
  • Thorough understanding of AML/ATF regulatory framework.
  • Sound knowledge of AML/ATF processes, including alert review, case investigation, and disposition.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Nice to have: Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification.
