As a
Janitor, you will take pride in knowing that our facility is clean and sanitary for all our employees to enjoy so we can all work optimally.


Your Responsibilities:


The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility to ensure that the workplace is presentable at all times.


How does this look? You will:

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation within production and nonproduction areas of the facility; including, but not limited to the lunchrooms, bathrooms, offices, kitchen, and common areas, external perimeter
  • Report any issues to supervisor
  • Ensure all washroom supplies are fully stocked, place supply order as needed
  • Sweep and wash floors in the office and washroom area
  • Clean windows, doors, desktops, printers, mirrors, tables etc.
  • Empty waste bins in offices, warehouse, and washrooms
  • Clean and disinfect drinking fountains, eyewash stations etc.
  • Other duties as needed

Your Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform tasks independently and accurately in a timely manner
  • Emphasis on time management skills, attention to detail, prioritizing
  • Work in accordance of NRT's Health and Safety program
  • CSA safety shoes are required

Working Conditions:

  • Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day (Flex hours available)
  • Temperatures may vary from hot to cool depending on the season
  • Standing and walking for the duration of shift
  • Caution must be utilized around forklift traffic on plant floor

Your Compensation:

  • Health, dental, vision benefits after 3 months of continuous employment
  • Weekly pay via direct deposit
  • Compensation based on experience.
