This is a role for an individual who can stay up all night and work with confidence. A detail oriented person making good decisions in the moment as situations unfold. You will be responsible to provide great customer service to our hotel guests.

This means you will be involved in the welcome and greeting of our guests, check in and check out procedures.

You will answer guest enquiries and provide assistance. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, and are passionate about customer service, with strong leadership abilities. Good computer knowledge and a fast learner who can work well under pressure. Rapid solutions to changing situations are your strength. This position is required for the weekends and the public holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Checking guests in and out and ensuring their comfort during their stay. The Welcome will make the difference; ensure customer satisfaction is your key driver and goal.
  • Ensure audit controls are in line with company standards and producing the required reports with analysis.
  • Good knowledge of credit card, cash, no show balancing procedures and rectifying the transactions of the day.
  • Tracking of different programs like Loyalty programs, Guest Satisfaction, and inventory of supplies.
  • Strong Communication with Team Members within the department and outside
  • Able to deal and resolve payment situations at the Front Desk

CANDIDATE REQUIRMENTS:

  • 2 years' experience in Hotel Front Desk role.
  • Experience in a Marriott Brand Hotel.
  • Knowledge of Opera a must.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Weekend availability and flexible working hours
  • Strong analytical abilities, detail oriented and able to multitask
  • Hospitality experience is a must.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or Tourism an asset
  • Bilingual a plus
