Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely load and unload vehicles onto the hauler trailer using appropriate equipment and procedures.
  • Secure vehicles properly using straps, chains, and other safety equipment to prevent damage during transportation.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after transport to ensure they are in good condition and report any damages or issues.
  • Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws while driving and operating the hauler truck.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any changes to schedules.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the hauler truck and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, providing excellent customer service to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial truck driver, preferably in car hauling or similar industry.
  • Knowledge of safe loading and securing practices for transporting vehicles.
  • Ability to operate and maneuver a hauler truck with precision and care.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and weekends as needed.
  • Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Knowledge of Vancouver and surrounding areas is an asset.
