Site Supervisor/foreman/woman

Gary Parker Excavating Limited is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor/Foreman/Woman with a minimum of 5 years' experience to provide full on-site supervision of GPE employees and subtrades.
General Requirements- Planning daily manpower requirements
- Providing instruction/feedback
- Coordinating work site activities
- Evaluating hourly workers' performance/productivity
- Ordering site materials
- Providing quality control and inspections
- Record daily site activities
- Establishing and meeting daily/weekly productivity targets
Skills:
- Communication(verbal/written)
- Task and people coordination
- Planning and organization
- Problem solving and decision making
- Working with tools and technology
- Checking, examining and recording
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Trade school graduation an asset
- Must complete WHMIS, Confined Space, Emergency First Aid/CPR-A, AED
- Must have reliable transportation and steel toed boots.
- Criminal record checks will be mandatory
- Working in inclement weather
- Working in trenches
- Heavy lifting required
- Working at heights
- Some potential environmentally sensitive work areas (dust, chemicals etc.)
Job Types:

From $21.00 per hour
