We are looking for a CT Technologist to fill travel assignments in Langley, Surrey and Kamloops, British Columbia.

What we are looking for :
Ability to perform special procedure examinations in CT in accordance with departmental policy and procedures, observing safe radiation protection practices, including the following:
receiving and completing requisitions
entering relevant data into the radiology information system
preparing examination trays and patients for specific procedures
operating computerized imaging equipment including processing and archiving of acquired data
monitoring patient during procedures
monitoring equipment performance

What you'll do:

The Computerized Tomography (CT) Technologist works in a computerized environment, performs special procedures such as Computerized Tomography (CT) and carries out diagnostic procedures either independently or in collaboration with a radiologist or other physician.

They also apply radiation safety principles and practices to protect patients, staff, and the general public, and complete required documentation and administrative tasks.


What you bring:
At least 1 year of recent Canadian CT Technology experience.

Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program plus successful completion of a recognized program such as Computer Tomography relevant to the designated specialty area.

Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
Current CPR/BLS

Ability to work alone and independently as well as team member All Staff must be double vaccinated for Covid-19.
