Schedule:
DAY shift**: 8 hours / 5 days / per week (Monday - Friday)

In your role, you will:

  • Plan and supervise the activities and management of a team of approximately 25 unionized painters.
  • Be responsible for the operational processes of the paint shop by achieving and monitoring the objectives.
  • Adhere to the management system by reporting and analyzing various indicators related to productivity, quality, health and safety, absenteeism, etc.
  • Resolve problems in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Maintain communication with other departments for any issue related to his sector.
  • Ensure continuous improvement through the use of operational excellence concepts and the problemsolving process.
  • Ensure the training of its employees, evaluate their performance and their progress.
  • Promote a work environment based on engagement, teamwork, and open communication

Qualifications

  • You have a college or university degree in aeronautics, engineering, operations management or a related field.
  • You have at least five (5) years of experience in a supervisory role in a unionized manufacturing environment specialized in painting activities.
  • You have strong planning and organizational skills to ensure results are achieved.
  • You demonstrate managerial courage when managing personnel.
  • You are available, flexible and motivated by a stimulating and changing environment.
  • You have excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • You are bilingual.
