Our client a premier agency and global leader in the digital marketing industry, is looking for a Paid Search Specialist to join their national team.

The SEM Campaign Managers are a crucial component of the Paid Search teams, and have a solid foundation in paid-search tactics and strategies, excelling in client service and in-depth analytics, while working directly with mid to large and enterprise level clients directly.

This role is client-facing, while you manage expectations and present reports/suggestions on a regular basis to mid and large scale clientele in the North American market.

Experience across key areas including Paid Search specializations with strong communication and presentation skills is critical.

Their client portfolio manages monthly spends of a minimum of $10,000 per month up to well above $0.5M per month.


This role will be accountable for the Paid Search Campaign development and optimization for mid to high-end clients, and at times working directly with C-level executives of such clients.

You Will:
Serve as team expert for Search Engine Marketing (SEM) tools & technology, account management and analytics;

  • Help manage a book of business consisting of assigned clients' online search marketing campaigns;
  • Be responsible for maintaining work integrity and accuracy;
  • Analyze, recommend, and implement improvements to meet client online search marketing ROI/CPA objectives;
  • Understand and manage client media-buying cycles, product/service update schedules, online marketing philosophy and goals, and target demographics;
  • Produce detailed campaign performance analysis and Excel and PowerPoint presentations;
  • Create, test, and optimize keywords and messaging to maximize reach, awareness, and new customer acquisition;
  • Build relevant account structures to ensure relevant ad copy appears on relevant queries;

Skills/Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of online marketing experience focused on Paid Search Campaign Development and Optimization for mid to large-scale Campaigns
  • At least 2 years working in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment
  • Google Ads and MS Ads certification
  • Highly developed interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Strategic optimization methodology with PPC-SEM campaigns
  • Experience working with a paid search bidding and optimization platform
  • Strong analytics experience, including familiarity with an online analytics platform
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong Customer Relations experience
  • The ability to function equally well independently as well as part of a team, and the flexibility to adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • Passion for marketing and the internet

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Google Ads Editor and UI, as well as MS Ads UI and desktop tool
  • Performance Max experience
  • Experience with SA360
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Looker Studio or another analytics platform
  • Problem Identifier and Solver
  • Previous agency experience
