KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Reporting to the Plant Manager, you are responsible for ensuring accurate, efficient and timely delivery of feed products; while providing courteous, quality-conscious customer service.


  • Delivers loads of feed as assigned
  • Vehicle care and maintenance
  • Performs daily pretrip and weekly truck/trailer inspections
  • Maintains accurate log book (Elog)
  • Performs all paperwork according to business requirements

PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA

  • Grade 12 or equivalent and Minimum 3 years truck & trailer driving preferred
  • Knowledge & operation experience on rural roads an asset
  • AZ/Class 1 license with clean driver's abstract
  • Some heavy physical effort is required; ability to lift up to 25 kg bags of feed
  • Feeds hauling experience is an asset
  • Positive work ethic and attitude; willingness and ability to learn; strong team and interpersonal skills
  • Selfmotivated able to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Demonstrate a commitment to customer service
