We are a high-volume Recycling Facility carrying out a goal of Zero Waste and have 9 locations that span across the Lower Mainland, Sea to Sky, and Vancouver Island.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR...
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
- Comfortable using Android tablets
- Comfortable operating various equipment
- Able to work as part of a team and independently when needed
- A problem solver and someone who shows initiative.
- High commitment to personal safety and the safety of the others
- Previous work experience in a warehouse is a bonus, but not required.
WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO
Reporting directly to managers, SORTERS will work in a team to perform tasks such as:
- Parking lot management (housekeeping, cleanliness).
- Cart Management (maintenance and cleanliness).
- Greeting customers upon their arrival and ensuring they understood the process while providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Increase customer awareness of Regional Recycling services.
- Assist customers with their recyclables when required to help.
- Manual handling of cash transactions in the event the ATM or software are not in service.
- Accurate and efficient processing of receivables.
- Keep the Depot area, tables, and handwashing stations clean and safe.
- Full Knowledge of all stewardship programs offered at the depot. Continuous training is provided.
- Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and other equipment inspections and maintenance as scheduled or required, ensuring the security of company assets.
- Provide excellent & superior customer service to our customers within the parking & customer service area.
- Ensure and maintain accurate and efficient standards in the sorting and counting beverage containers, following Regional Recycling's purchasing policies and procedures as well as all stewardship quality assurance requirements.
- Other tasks as assigned by the managers or supervisors.
COMPENSATION
- Benefits will kick in after passing 6months probation period (Fulltime employees only)
