Due to the tremendous growth in the construction industry, Accurate Materials Testing Ltd. has some immediate openings for the "_field concrete technician_" position.

Job Title:
Concrete Technician (Lower Mainland) - Full time, part-time, on-call.

Start Date of Employment:
As soon as possible

Wage:
$21/Hour (for 3 Months of probation period) & $22/Hour (after probation)

Main duties include, but are not limited to:

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Being reliable, accountable, hardworking, and honest individuals.


Doing concrete spot tests (including sampling, measuring temperature, measuring slump, measuring air content, and casting compressive test specimens) on different job sites.

Inspecting shotcrete walls, concrete quality, structural repair procedures, etc.

Coring shotcrete panels for compressive strength result.

Picking up the cast samples from job sites.

Working in the laboratory in terms of preparing samples for curing, sorting, grinding, and breaking.

Job Requirements:

Driver's License:
Valid Class 5

Minimum Education:
Diploma (Having construction knowledge is an asset.)

Legally permitted to work in Canada.

Be able to manage physically heavy work.

Be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
