Responsibilities:

  • Inspect all produce items upon arrival at the warehouse
  • Ensure that all incoming and outgoing product meets strict quality standards
  • Monitor inventory on a daily basis and communicate condition of product in storage
  • Conduct CFIA audits for product inspections
  • Assisting with coaching, teaching and training of staff
  • Coordination and monitoring of transportation
  • Identify and communicate problems in a timely manner to minimize losses
  • Other projects and responsibilities as may arise

Qualifications:

-
Must have fresh produce experience, either in warehouse or retail:

  • Office administration experience is consider as an asset
  • An understanding of quality control and the ability to review product upon arrival
  • Excellent verbal, nonverbal and written communication skills in order to report product condition to ensure that it meet specifications
  • Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude
  • Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised and meet key deadlines
  • Ability to work in highpaced environment
  • Good time management skills
  • Highly organized; knowledgeable and follow the company's policies and procedures
  • Must be able to adhere to the company vaccination policy
