Combined Laboratory

As a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist II, you will oversee the daily operations of department staff and services within your area. Your role involves coordinating, organizing, and managing the Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging departments at the site. You will conduct manual and automated laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging exams, cardiology procedures, and related tasks in accordance with the standards set by regulatory bodies such as the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT), College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), and Health Professions Act.

Completion of diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT). Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technologists (ACCLXT).

Experience with Epic, Caresphere, Wellsky, Radiant, Mobile Radiography – GE Portable, Carestream DXR Ascend X-ray unit, Kodak Direct View CR 850. Agfa PACS Laboratory. Laboratory: ACL Elite Pro, Sysmex 1000i, Vitros XT3400, Clinitek Status, I-Stat, Triage MeterPro.
