Apprentice Carpenter/labourer

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting carpenters with various tasks including measuring, cutting, and installing materials
  • Learning and utilizing carpentry techniques and tools
  • Helping to maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Following plans and instructions to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards
  • Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
  • Communicating effectively with team members and clients.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years experience in construction
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (we work within HRM)
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Must already be located in Canada and eligible to work in Nova Scotia (disregard this line if you are already a Canadian Citizens or a Permanent Resident)

Benefits:

  • Pay ranges between $18$28 based on skills and experience
  • Year end performance bonuses
  • We have red seal carpenters on staff who can sign off on apprenticeship hours
